Delete Your Rafay Cars Account
How to request deletion of your account and personal data.
You can ask us to delete your Rafay Rent a Car account and the personal information attached to it. This page explains how to ask, what is deleted, and what has to be kept.
How to request deletion
If you have an account — do it yourself
Sign in and go to My Details → Delete my account. You confirm with your password, and the account closes straight away. Nobody has to approve it and you do not need to contact us.
The same page is in the app under Account → Delete my account.
If you booked as a guest
Guest bookings have no login to delete, but the personal details on them can still be removed. Email contact@rafaycars.com or WhatsApp 03214850003 from the address or number you booked with, with the subject Account deletion request, and include the name and mobile number used on the booking so we can find it.
What happens next
- Your account closes immediately and every device is signed out.
- You have a grace period of 14 days in which you can call us and change your mind.
- After that your name, email, phone number and saved addresses are permanently erased. This step cannot be undone.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a trip that has not happened yet — call us if you want the booking cancelled too.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, mobile and WhatsApp numbers
- Your password
- Saved and favourite addresses
- Your device push notification tokens
- Your newsletter subscription
- Enquiries that never became a completed booking
What is kept, and why
We will not tell you everything vanishes when it does not. Completed booking and payment records are retained because Pakistani tax and accounting rules require a business to keep records of the transactions it has carried out. When we retain them:
- The record is anonymised — your name and contact details are removed and replaced with an internal reference.
- What remains is the trip, the vehicle, the date and the amount. It can no longer be linked back to you.
- Nobody can log in to it, and it is never used for marketing.
We also keep basic security logs for a short period, as any responsible operator does, to investigate fraud and abuse.
Deletion is permanent
Once deleted, an account cannot be restored, and your trip history is gone. If you book with us again later you will be starting fresh.
Just want to stop the emails?
You do not need to delete your whole account. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails, or tell us, and we will stop the marketing while leaving your booking history intact.

Request account deletion
Send us a deletion request from the email address or mobile number on the account and we will confirm it within 30 days. If you have the Rafay Cars app, you can also do this from Account → Privacy → Delete My Account.
